SecReizh Team
Overview
SecReizh is a research team of IRISA at the University of South Brittany, Vannes (France).
The SecReizh Research Team focuses on developing novel and sound languages, processes, and tools to address security by design, mainly driven by the software architecture for software-reliant systems and, in particular, systems of socio-technical systems (SoSTS). In fact, humans have an important role in the successful achievement of the SoSTS mission. The philosophy followed by the SecReizh team is that to better understand the vulnerability of a system, it is necessary to take its entire environment into account.
Research directions
The challenges raised by dealing with SoSTS’s security are:
- Integration of Cybersecurity Risk Assessment into Model-based Requirements Engineering;
- Strengthening the Link Between Security Experts and Software Architects;
- Architecture Security and Safety Verification;
- Empowering SoSTS ADLs with a Scenario-Based Approach for Security by Design;
- Security-Oriented Metrics for Architectures;
- Dealing with raised vulnerabilities when humans are constituents of an SoS.
